There are third party cartridges out there, but you'll have to transfer the Canon chips and you'll never again know how many sheets are left in the count. There is also a third party refill company out there, but that requires drilling, cutting, filling, taping, and keeping the original cartridge with the original chip....pta. You'll find them in a Google search or on Amazon. Best Buy and Canon do not recommend third party toner cartridges. You may affect your warrantee with off brand cartridges.
