QuestionThis says it is wireless. Sometimes I work in places that do not have wireless. Can I connect this printer to my computer with a cable?

- Answer Yes, this printer can be used with a USB connection and is the way I am using it. Two cautions if you have not bought this yet. The specifications on Best Buy say it has a touch screen. It does not and the screen is not backlit making it hard to read in low light. The specs also say it is auto duplexing. It is not. Duplexing is manual. I have only had this for about 3 weeks and the printing is fine but color is slow.

QuestionThe Cannon G4010 that I bought a few months ago I just opened yesterday and the black ink will not Print. I have done everything even an ink flush that wasted 1/2 of my color inks. Please tell me what to do?

- Answer Is not a duplex printer. Have to flip it to print two-sided.

- Answer Yes and yes. I use the various digital options usually to send straight to email or text instead of fax though. The scanner is incredible and refilling the ink was so easy! I love this machine so far...

QuestionIs there a backlight on the LCD screen? I keep my office dark, often. When it is, I literally have to pull out a flashlight to read anything on the printer LCD screen.

- Answer There isn’t a backlight on the Canon 4210. For me, all the other perks outweighed the backlight and the ADF.

QuestionIn PC Mag, it is stated that it can't print from or scan to flash memory devices such as USB thumb drives and/or SD memory cards. As an altenative to this is to Download the flash memory devices to pc/labtop desktop/drive...and do it from there?

- Answer There is no flash receptacle on the printer. I recommend installing an app from the Windows 10 app store named "Windows Scan." It will do OCR, as well as giving you full 'save as' and 'save to' options.

QuestionWas running fine. Black started fading & skipping part of page - like out of black ink. Check black tank - almost full. Topped off anyway. Not printing black at all; but, prints color. Diagnostics print black okay. Using both Word & Excel.

- Answer Yes but you have to flip the paper manually after printing the first page(s) and select a continue button on your computer to finish the print job.

QuestionIf the printer only needs the ink reservoirs refilled with bottles, why do you need black & color cartridges? The video says there are no throw-away cartridges. But the copier comes with a black cartridge & a color cartridge with instructions to install.
