“In PC Mag, it is stated that it can't print from or scan to flash memory devices such as USB thumb drives and/or SD memory cards. As an altenative to this is to Download the flash memory devices to pc/labtop desktop/drive...and do it from there?”

• There is no flash receptacle on the printer. I recommend installing an app from the Windows 10 app store named "Windows Scan." It will do OCR, as well as giving you full 'save as' and 'save to' options.
