Yes and yes. I use the various digital options usually to send straight to email or text instead of fax though. The scanner is incredible and refilling the ink was so easy! I love this machine so far...

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Elizabeth, Yes, this is an all in one printer that offers print, fax, copy and scan capabilities. From the best of my understanding, faxing has to be done through a traditional land line as there is an included phone line within the box.
