Unfortunately I can’t answer the question… i am using a windows based program. Check the iOS apps and look for the Canon print selfie app and see if it has any infl on your question. When I was downloading the set up program on my moms computer, I noticed that there was a QR code in the set up manual for the printer saying both for Microsoft and iOS. But double check
