From my research, Canon printers and inks are not edible. Since I was unfamiliar with edible inks, I find there are specific printers and inks available for this purpose. With regard to Canon ink being the same for all printers, I can confirm they are not the same since my current printer is my third Canon and each previous printer ink cartridges are different and cannot be used on my current printer. I'm trying to determine if there is a way to trade in the unused cartridges for ink that will work with my new printer and give those that are partially used to someone who can use them.
