- Answer This camera works great, in my opinion it's one of the best ones, the down side could be the microphone. The other option that you have it's the Sony RX100 V really good to but it's 300 more expensive, and the big difference it's the 4K vs the 1080HD beside that the Canon G7ii it's pretty solid Camera.

QuestionThis camera only has 4.2x optical...which I do not think is very much for zoom.....what is the distance that this camera can zoom? Please explain if it has good zoom or not, thank you. I like everything about the camera but the zoom is a concern for me.

- Answer Yes the zoom is pretty good it's just trying to get it to focus up close is hard if ur going for a macro close up. Over all I love it. And I vlogg with it every day all day.
