I love this camera and I think it is perfect for starting to get into photography, although it does have a few minor downfalls. I have had mine for almost a year and I am ready to move onto something bigger. This one will do your basic zoom and shoot but doesn't offer the newer background blur. Also when shooting videos it is wise to zoom in slowly as it takes a while, with video, for it to focus if you zoom to fast.
