“Does the battery discharge completely when videoing or taking pictures? My current Canon shuts down and says the battery needs to be charged when videoing, however, I can turn it back on and the battery life icon says it has a full charge.”

This camera turns off when the battery dies and it says charge battery. It also slows down considerably. If I'm in the middle of taking a picture is sometimes just stops right in the middle and turns off.
