“I am used to uploading multiple photos to ebay listings at one time. How do I do that with the powershot? Each time I have to go back to the connection & double click on several options before I can get to the photos & then repeat that multiple times”

Move the photos to your PC and upload as usual. If the issue's with the ebay interface (it's been ages since I've sold anything there,) it won't matter which camera you use.
