- Answer Yes! I use it for that reason and love it! Only thing that could be better is the sound quality but that is just me being picky. And if you get a wind screen that won't be a problem I don't think.

- Answer I used the Cannon cloud feature to upload my videos and then downloaded them (zip file) to my laptop. I would assume the functionality would be the same depending on the memory in your iPad.
