I am pretty sure they are identical. Your question made me nervous as then I looked at specs but the only difference I see in listed specs is it says "no" for HD on the red camera. I did buy the red camera for my wife for Christmas and just opened the box to check but both the box and on the camera itself, it says full HD so I think the BB website is wrong.
