A:AnswerYes, it should be compatible with all canon cameras with an IR pickup capable of recieving remote commands. I could be wrong but im pretty sure it compatible. If your not sure if you have IR, look in the front of your camera and see if you can find a small clear red lense. Thats most likely your IR sensor!
A:AnswerI own a Rebel SL1 and the remote only functions in the “ Self timer/remote” setting. Just attempted to use it in video mode without success. Hope this is helpful.
