No, this was made for the new 2013 version. 2013 has a camera in the rear, it's thinner than the 2012 and there two speakers in the rear of the tablet. The 2012 too thick for this case it just wouldn't fit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well, the case is form-fitting, so since the iPad Mini and Nexus 7 have different dimensions (the Nexus 7 is notably thinner on the long side), it would have nothing to keep it in. You'd probably be better served by another case and keyboard combo (or separate, but in a small bag).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it is not. This cover is compatible only with 2013 Nexus 7 and not the 2012 (first gen Nexus). I am using a $10 book type cover for my first gen 2012 Nexus which has magnet (you can get a good quality covers for 2012 nexus from any online merchant for $10 or less)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No this is meant for the 2013 model

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately no, the 2012 and 2013 have different dimensions and therefore require different cases.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't believe you can. From my understanding is it works only when it's physically connected to the surface. The keyboard connection unique to the surface.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nooooooooo......... it says its for iPad air, why would it work with a nexus?
