This very thing happened to me. The case leaked and damaged my phone. I’m wondering how the Casemate company is going to help me replace my phone? It’s NOT acceptable to simply get a refund on the case.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Mia. I’m not a licensed phone expert but I do know quite a bit about them and how they operate/react to damage. Oil sounds like probably the worst thing to get inside your phone, as it is oil and is gross. Your options would be to take it to the Apple Store and have them run a free diagnostic test, find a cheap repair shop, or look up tutorials and order tools online to take it apart and clean it yourself (which I would not recommend). Hope this helps!

It is up to the manager discretion to replace damage devices due to case leakage. In the event, your case does leak, we can offer you a non-Waterfall replacement valued up to $50.
