- Answer The AstroMaster 130EQ will reveal Jupiter's cloud belts, four of its brightest moons, Saturn's rings, and Mars' orange surface color during a favorable opposition. The telescope is also capable of revealing nebulae and galaxies, but these fainter objects are best seen from a dark sky location away from city light pollution.

- Answer For basic lunar, planetary, or terrestrial picture taking, the AstroMaster 130EQ will do just fine. However, for more in-depth, long exposure astrophotography, a computerized, go-to (with tracking) German Equatorial Mount model is recommended. Sincerely, Garrett at Celestron
