“Does the WI FI Hub need to be in the garage or plug it in next to my router.? How far does the Wi Fi Hub reach to my Wi FI? Or do i need to oeder a WI-Fi extender Thanks”

According to instructions it should be in the garage, I mounted mine by the to motor it’s self, if you can get wifi on your phone in the garage, it will work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The wifi hub goes in the garage. We have ours mounted on the wall, about 20 ft from the garage opener. As far as Wi-Fi extenders, it depends on how good your Wi-Fi is. We hve good signal in our garage, so we didn't need to buy an extender when we bought the MyQ.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The myQ Smart Garage Control must be in the garage and in line of sight of the door sensor that mounts on the top panel of the garage door. The 2.4 GHZ Wi-Fi signal must reach the Smart Garage Control in the garage, a Wi-Fi extender may be needed if you need additional signal strength. Thank you!
