Vehicle HomeLink can be programmed to an opener regardless of MyQ, however, it does depend on the compatibility of the vehicle. The MyQ Smart Garage Hub can be used to operate your door from the myQ Application.

If only trying to add access via app this is all you will need. If buying or replace a wall garage opener you will still need a wall unit for actual pressing of button to open or lose unless you you don’t want the wall garage door opener then that this should be ok with the the Smart Garage Control (white). FYI, this doesn’t connect to Alexa only Ring, Google, Vivant, Alarm.com to name a few.

If you are asking if it can sense/control multiple garage doors, then it can control up to 2 doors if an additional sensor is added/purchased. If you are asking if multiple family members can use it to open/close the garage door, then yes, each family member can add the app to their phone and use it as a garage door remote.
