Yes it should, and yes key pad will still work

Please try again later.If the safety sensors or door sensor to the myQ Smart Garage Control are not working the garage door cannot be opened via the myQ app. The myQ app can only operate the garage door if the garage door is working properly. The keypad will not be affected by the Smart Garage Control, the keypad will work as usual. Thank you!
