No, this hub should be mounted on the ceiling near your garage door opener. Once it's connected, you have access to the app to open your garage door from your phone, from anywhere.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This unit’s hub is model MyQ-G0401MC. The door mounted positional sensor(s) are model MyQ-G0402MC. I have a two door setup at one of my houses so I have one hub and two positional sensors. My units were all manufactured August 2022 and the hub software updated to the most current version upon setting it up.
