Yes, the myQ application can be accessed to operate your garage door if the opener is Wi-Fi enabled and connected to a network, registered to your myQ account, or a non myQ opener paired with the myQ Smart Control. The myQ Video Keypad is compatible with Wi-Fi Garage Door openers or garage door openers paired through either the Smart Garage Control or Smart Garage Hub.

Depending on your model of opener, there may be a few extra steps for the setup (as was the case for me), but there wasn't anything difficult about any of the setup. I've had the video keypad for a couple of weeks. Highly recommend.
