It won't even get that far. We have one in the mountains of Colorado, anything in the single digits will cause it to shut down. You then have to bring it in to warm it up to get it back online.

Extremely cold weather can unfortunately impact the lithium-ion batteries used in many smart home devices, and as the temperature drops the battery will begin to have trouble holding a charge. At freezing temperatures, the battery may run out of power more quickly and require more frequent charges. As the temperature goes up your keypad will return to normal operation.
