Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need the Chamberlain MyQ gateway/hub for this. The sensors report back to the hub the status of the door (open/closed), the hub sends out the remote signal to open and close the door.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. What is pictured is a garage door sensor. It goes at the top of your garage door and must be linked with a MyQ Garage Wi-Fi hub to provide any door position functionality.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You still need the myq wifi hub to bridge to your wifi hub. The devices on the door don't connect directly to the wifi.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need a MyQ Garage Wi-Fi hub to link to you home's WiFi system and then one sensor for each door you wish to control. When you purchase the hub, it comes with one sensor. You can buy additional sensors as required.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need the MyQ hub to communicate with the MyQ Cloud if you want to use the MyQ App to monitor your garage door remotely and use your phone to open and close your garage door. You might be able to figure out a different approach with a Raspberry Pi or Arduino if you are so inclined, but that would entail some serious software development on your part along with detailed information on how the MyQ sensors operate. Simplest approach is to use the MyQ hub.
