• They are the same, the only difference is the brand. One is Lift Master Branded and one is myQ Branded both function and have the same features. Thank you!

• The WLM is the upgrade WCM model. I'm not sure how much newer it actually us but from what I could tell it's got a faster transfer bus which enables a better view on you phone.
