All of the ports are the female side of a USB connection action As long as you are using the regular size USB cables you will not have any problems I have charged my cell phone, iPsd, and two pair of head sets all at the same time. One of the features that I really like is the unit has some weight to it. You don't need to worry about the cables lifting it in the air or falling over because of the cables
