“I have black, think, coarse wavy hair. I've wasted my money on the In-Styler and various other "straightening" brushes that say they'll straighten my hair but don't. I want it stick straight, will this one do it, Please Be Honest! Thank you!”

It will get it pretty straight but the thing I've noticed with these types of tools is that we (coarse thick hair owners) have to turn the heat up almost to the max. This ends up breaking my hair. It may not hurt your hair. For the money, I would buy a Head Kandy heat brush. I had one and it got my hair stick straight. Good Luck!
