A: It will get it pretty straight but the thing I've noticed with these types of tools is that we (coarse thick hair owners) have to turn the heat up almost to the max. This ends up breaking my hair. It may not hurt your hair. For the money, I would buy a Head Kandy heat brush. I had one and it got my hair stick straight. Good Luck!
A: There's a digital screen with a + or - buttons. I use it at 410 the highest number. I have thick hair. You can lower the temp. Just a heads if you order online...My package came in a really damaged box. Check it out first before you take it out of store. They gave me two weeks to use and return if it didnt work well. The only problem was that the digital number sometimes doesn't work but I can still tell what number it is. It does not straighten as well as the flat irons. But for a quick fix, it's ok. I didn't spend the $79 or more. I waited for sales as well as the "cash rewards". It came out to $54. That's why I kept it. Hope it helps.

Q: My hair is long, thin and slightly wavy. Would this product straighten my hair without damage?
A: Technically heat if used in excess will damage your hair regardless. However this brush itself is very easy on your hair, given that you have reasonably healthy hair.
