No, this mount does not have a quick-release feature.

Yes it does. At the bottom of the brackets mounted to the back of the tv are two pull tabs. Just make sure you flip them down before installing the brackets. If not the space between the tv and bracket won’t all you to pull them down. Once installed I just taped them up behind the tv to hide them.
