Yes, Chipolo Spot models work with Apple Find My app and use Apple network to update location via community (same as AirTags do).

My friend has a chipolo tracker on his keychain and after traveling together for a while my iphone did notify me that there was an unknown tracker “following” me so yes these work just like airtags

Yes! If the chip notices that it has been traveling with somebody besides the owner, that person will get notifications on their phone that they are traveling with somebody’s Chipolo device. Pretty neat if the item was lost or stolen, it can help you get your item back.
