Shampoo, The short answer is that, you can install another drive into the system, as there are available bays. Doing so, as with modifying the configuration in general, will not void the warranty or Free Lifetime Technical Support that we provide. Whether or not moving the drive from an existing system will have the desired effect, will depend on what you are attempting to accomplish. If you are simply wanting to keep data; pictures, music, movies, documents, etc., as long as you have a compatible viewer / reader / player installed, this should work easily and without issue. If you are seeking to easily transfer installed programs, games, the O/S load of the other system, etc., there will likely be other factors to consider.
