Two. This is in the lower compartment with the power supply. There is a "Storage Bracket" for the drives. See attached drawing.

The MSI motherboard has 4 SATA data connectors for HDDs and there are 2 additional power connectors from the power supply. There is probably only room for 2 in the bottom area next to the power supply. There are 3 additional slots for M.2 SATA drives other than the installed 2TB drive. See photos for diagram from the motherboard manual.
