    This is my first prebuilt gaming PC. With that said, I did a lot of research before purchasing it. Everything from the company who makes this PC to all the parts inside. In terms of pricing yes you can go cheaper by building it yourself, but I really wasn’t saving much instead it was just going to burden me with headaches of building one. I figured for the graphics card they give you and the cpu plus all of the other bells and whistles like custom RGB lighting it was worth the price for me. I use my PC for SIM racing and if you know anything about this hobby, it takes an immense amount of power to get a game running good. This PC right out of the box had no issues running some of the top SIM racing games out there currently. I have no issue running my graphic settings at max and still getting a high frames per second. I’ve also started to edit videos on this PC and that’s just as smooth as playing. Long story short, I absolutely love this thing and if I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing. Side note: when doing my research I came across CLX’s website and found that they have a user friendly program that lets you custom built your PC with everything in any part you do or don’t want.

    I purchased this desktop on jan 11th. Since then my video card jas crashed twice on me. Turning it in a second time today to see why it happened again in 2 months.

    Great customer service on the floor, he looked into exactly what i was looking for and we decided on this PC. Works great easy plug and play and no technical issues at all.

    Custom PC: A Developer's Upgrade Journey

    I received my PC with a minor delay of just a few days. Overall, I'm satisfied, especially since it was a bit cheaper than purchasing the same model directly from the CLX website. I won't comment on its gaming capabilities since I bought this PC for development work, replacing my 12-year-old machine. Running Linux, it performs excellently. Here are some details not listed in the description: The motherboard is an MSI X670 Gaming Plus WiFi. Memory is Patriot Viper. The NVMe drive is a Team Group Gen 4. I've added two 3.5-inch drives, with room for three more 2.5-inch drives. The case is a Phanteks XT View. Remember, these PCs are custom-built, so components can vary.

    I ordered this pc over a month ago. It has been delayed 2 times for being out of stock. Yet it is still available to purchase. I dont recommend any clx brands. Had i known this prior orderingI would of purchased a different computer. Best buy has handled this horribly and doesn't take any responsibility for their vendor. Especially since i am making a payment on a computer i dont have after a month now. The only compensation i been given is sorry twice now and wait. Which is unacceptable.

      We would like to first thank the customer for choosing CLX, and also sincerely apologize for the delays in fulfilling their order.

      When the order was placed, 4th quarter / holiday period order volume had already started ramping up, which unfortunately caused some orders, including this one, to take substantially longer than usual to fulfill.

      In this instance, there was also another wrinkle that compounded the delay; 10 business days after the order had been released to us for fulfillment, we received a cancellation request from the merchant, and cancelled the order. The reason for the cancellation was that a change of shipping address had been made. The same day as the original order was cancelled, another order for the same product - with a different shipping address - was released to us. Further, along with a new PO Number, the second order had a new, later, expected date.

      Unfortunately, because the different PO numbers did not reference each other in the orders entered into our systems via automated process, there was no notification to us that the second was connected to the first. This had the effect of putting the customer's order at the end of the line, and it again being affected by the inadvertent delay.

      The original order would likely have shipped no later than 4 business days after the originally expected delivery date, had it not been cancelled. While the second order was also slightly delayed, it shipped 2 days late from the date provided with it, and delivery occurred 2 days after that, as we shipped it via a carrier that would perform Saturday deliveries, to prevent further delay of delivery until the following Monday.

      Please know, the that the above is not intended as an excuse, simply a clarification of the events, for which we once again very humbly apologize.

    AVOID - ITEM DOESN'T EXIST, WILL NEVER SHIP - TRAP

    I am beyond disappointed with this purchase and Best Buy's handling of the situation. I ordered this item with high expectations, but it has turned into an absolute nightmare: 1. Delayed Delivery: The order was significantly delayed without proper updates or explanations. 2. Missed Promotions: I applied for a Best Buy credit card to save 20%, but the order never went through, causing the promotion to expire. Additionally, I lost 5% in PayPal rewards, and now I have a new credit card in my name! 3. Forced Refund: Best Buy has decided to cancel my order entirely by January 16 instead of resolving the issue or making amends. This is unacceptable for a retailer of this size. To make matters worse, the customer service experience has been atrocious. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this, I received no real help or compensation. It’s clear that Best Buy doesn’t value its customers, and they have no problem leaving you high and dry after wasting your time and money. This product—and, by extension, Best Buy—deserves zero stars. If an item isn’t available or orders can’t be fulfilled, it should NOT be listed on the website. Conclusion: You can save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere. Best Buy’s lack of accountability, poor customer service, and refusal to resolve their mistakes show they cannot be trusted. I will never shop here again. I would rather buy a used computer from the creepy guy on FB Marketplace!

      We would like to apologize for the delay in fulfilling your order.

      If your review is in relation to the order we believe it is, it was invoiced and processed for shipment at the end of last week, and at the time of this writing is awaiting pickup by the carrier.

      The carrier would have taken possession today, were it not for the severe winter weather. Barring further weather-related delay, we currently expect the carrier to take possession tomorrow, with delivery occurring approximately 4 - 6 business days later than originally expected.

    I did not purchace this pc. With this said i was reading the reviews of people complaining that their order was delayed blameimg best buy. Best buy is awsome and they can jelp that one of there manufacturers are crappy. Im sure they will stop doing buisness woth them. Best buy has an awsome return policy and i do all my major electronic purchaces there. I will say they need more high end gamimg desktops honestly they seem to focus on gaming laptops and not destops. The tide is turning and i believe withing the next 5 years consoles will start to faze out for oeople using pcs as there main console. Im late to the party but im ready for the jump.
