They have electricity in Iceland??? Of course you can charge them overseas. Just as with anything else you might charge or plug in over there, you will need an adapter from what ever they use to a standard US 110 volt, 60 MHZ, single phase power.

I'm sure you'll be able to recharge these anywhere you go unless there isn't any outlets. To answer your question about "INTERNATIONALLY" I purchased a pair to communicate with the kids but I didn't get any reception at all and I was in Cancun Mexico... Good luck!!
