• Yes, more than likely. It would probably depend on which frequency/channel you are on. A few times throughout the drive we momentarily picked up interference from other drivers using their radios. (So, be careful what you say!)

• This works with other consumer 2-way radios, as long as they utilize the FRS and/or GMRS frequencies, which the typical consumer off-the-shelf 2-way radio does. Those Motorola radios that Best Buy sells would work with these Cobra radios.
