“Can the "Roger Beep" be turned off? For use hunting, we don't like the roger beep feature to be on, since it makes unnecessary noise. Is it possible to turn off this feature on these radios?”

• Yes, it can be turned off. All of the features can be toggled on and off, plus you can lock it to keep from changing channels in case you bump it.

• Yes. Read through the instruction manual and it will tell you how. You can also buy a set of headset to use with them that are voice activated and eliminate the need for the "roger beep".

• Horrible reception won't even go about 500 feet! I would not recommend them much more then a child's toy! I have not found a way to turn the beep off yet.
