• It is a dual camera system with 2 cameras that can be positioned in 2 different locations of your choice. Main camera has a suction cup( can also rotate) , and the other camera is mounted using double sided tape(fixed). You can record anything you want.

• Yes, if you mount the rear camera on the windshield facing the interior of the vehicle. I believe that is the main intention of the manufacturer. It could be mounted on the rear window facing out to monitor traffic behind you instead if you so desire as well.
