Questionim trying to play some videos on the camera and even on my laptop, on the cam it just shows a green screen for some videos and when I try to play it it says error playing video ? is there a way to play these videos ?

QuestionI have a Cobra Drive HD front and rear cam in my Jeep Cherokee which has a smoked rear glass. The back cam does not see so well at night with clear glass so this is a problem. Is the rear camera weather proof enough to place outside the vehicle?

QuestionI purchased a cobra duel camera system a year ago. Just recently the front camera was stolen. Can I just replace the front camera and still use both rear and front action while driving. i do have a warranty .

QuestionCobra CDR 895D screen is black but the red light is on as if it's recording. I have tried pushing the buttons, nothing seems to be working. It was hardwired into the car. Got it installed by best buy 4-5 months ago. No problems until today. Please help.

- Answer Mine wont come on right away when in the car overnight when temps are below freezing. Once it warms up its works like normal.

Questionon my dash cam i have a 32 gb card. About every 30 min the system will stop recording and on the screen it will show insert a S.D. card. The card is in the unit. I have to go into the setting and do nothing and exit the setting and it will record

- Answer Return it. After THREE times they finally found out mine did the same thing. its the memory car thats defective and too slow if you are using the one they sent with the unit.

QuestionCan you connect this unit to a Pioneer car stereo with navigation? I have an HDMI cable coming from the Pioneer and purchased the Mini HDMI to female HDMI that connects to the camera. The Pioneer doesn't recognize it. Is this to only connect to a TV?

- Answer That cord is strictly for power. To view videos on another device you must remove the micro sd card.

QuestionIs this model cdr895d going to be discontinued? I see that cobra has a new series called the DASH series and the model 2216D looks very similar. At a glance , it looks the same except they've changed from a self-contained battery, to a capacitor design?

QuestionI installed this in a 2013 Mercedes ML550 with push button start. If the camera is on, the push button start will not work. I think its a RF signal problem, have you had this complaint yet?

- Answer No, the camera can not be installed by the plate. I have mine on the back window looking out. It has a double face tape on the bracket of the rear cam.

- Answer If you bought the warranty, best buy will replace it for free of charge, if you didn't buy it, you'll have to find a way to glue it back together or order a new mounting piece.
