It's possible, however the screen is pretty small for use as a backup cam.

Yes the rear facing camera does come with an extension cable to use it as such; however, it does not have the fancy bells and whistles that do come with factory installed backup cameras in most vehicles, meaning there is no guidance or alarms that sound if there is an obstruction.

It is possible. I find that the screen size is to small to be useful for this function.
