How do u charge it so it works null

To charge devices with the POWER 500, it needs to be installed to a 12V DC power source such as a vehicle battery or through a 12V accessory port in your vehicle. The in-vehicle 12V port is most convenient and easy to use. Plug the 12V adapter into the port, make sure the power light is ON and you can power your devices up to 120 Watts. If this is not an option, direct to battery installation will be required to power the product. If you are having issues with the product (i.e., the USB port is not charging), please call Cobra Customer Care at 1-800-543-1608 for assistance.
