    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer The communication range quoted is calculated under optimum conditions, with an unobstructed line of sight. Actual range will vary depending on terrain and conditions, and is often less than the maximum possible. Your actual range will be limited by several factors including, but not limited to, terrain, weather conditions, electromagnetic interference and obstructions. Top/mid/base ranges (miles): 23(Mountain to Mountain)/6(Lake)/1(Urban)

  • QuestionCan it work in Africa with 220 volts

    Asked by Yomi.

    • Answer Yomi, The PX650 Series radios can use a standard micro USB charger to charge the radio directly or in the charging dock. The PX560 Series comes with a charger capable of 110-220V, however you may need an adaptor plug depending on the region. As a note: FRS radios are only legal in some countries such as U.S. and Canada. You may want to check local regulations for the specific countries you wish to use the radio to ensure they are legal to use and will not cause interference with other users on those frequencies / channels.
