“Is this new detector set up so it DOES NOT go off every couple of minutes when an expensive car goes by? I was told by your company about two years ago that you were working on eliminating all those FALSE alarm which are so annoying that I usually unplug”

This detector does not go off at all when a new car sporting the new avoidance RADAR goes by. It is also up gradable as new systems are put in cars

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have turned off the K & X bands. Law Enforcement only uses the Ka band and Lasers. The only alerts I get are cops.

I'm commuting 120 miles round trip daily from rural to city and rarely get an alarm when I don't see a cop + I'm using the highest sensitivity setting on the detector. There is also a setting called 'Quiet Drive' that only sounds the initial few seconds of an alarm.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Actually prevents mostly all of the avoidance systems including GM vehicles. Only thing is it will sacrifice a bit of K band strength to get rid of that. As far as KA band, it is very good.
