How and where does it attach to the car? null

The cord attaches into your cigarette lighter and the actual unit itself, suction cups to window, while it's sitting on your dash.

I centered the Velcro on my dashboard, and checked placement before I stuck it to the Cobra or the dash. I made sure it would not be pointed too far up or down. I do not leave the device on the dashboard when I am not in the car. Weekly, I take 4 "3 hour" trips , on highways that go from 45 mph to 65mph frequently, and have been having great luck with the device placement. I felt putting it on the windshield could be easily seen by those I am trying to avoid, and would rather not draw that attention.
