• Yes it does and it has a button to mute the mic so that it can’t record audio

• yes it records sound and conversations inside car, but that can be turned off in settings. I love my Cam its saved my butt twice just by having ability to turn on speed sensor that matches camera and displays speed on cam, but that can be turned off in settings as well.
