“This south Texas heat melted the adhesive, what mirror mount would fit this camera? Everytime I "fix" it the heat melts it away. I'm looking for alternative. Like a mirror mount. Thank you”

I had to actually get a mirror mount and RUBBER BAND the camera arm to the mount. Of course in time, the rubber band is going to rot, but it can easily be replaced, and its a quick, easy and inexpensive fix. You just cant get around the fact that the heat will take its toll on the adhesive to attach the camera to the windshield. You could probably tie it with something else; maybe strong string or even wire.
