- Answer It's an upgrade kit that turns your 1- way into a 2 way. I'm impressed with mine - it works a lot further than OEM car starters. Yes, Best Buy installs them when they install the base 1-way system.

- Answer Yes it will work on a 06, I have a 07. And have it preset to ac all the way on when u leave ur truck and when u remote start it , it’ll kick on.
