- Answer You do not need the Compustar key fob with you if you plan on just using the application. Only the app and factory key is needed in that situation.

QuestionWill this act as an engine immobilizer on a hyundai elantra with the plain key ignition? Will work if the car has had the "anti theft sw update?

- Answer This system comes with a starter kill relay. This will stop the car from cranking when the alarm is set similar to an immobilizer. Make sure to ask for the relay to be installed when setting up appointment. This will for with vehicles that have had the "anti theft" update
