A: I bought it a couple of weeks ago and it does not include installation. The quote from BB to install is $230. If you go that route, maybe for a Christmas present, suggest you book your appointment now.

A: No. Depending on your car’s make and model, you will need to purchase separately a wiring harness compatible with your vehicle. Before purchasing, suggest you drop in store and talk to one of those GEEK guys to get a complete picture of what you’ll need. Best Buy will have or will order for you the compatible wiring harness for your vehicle once you’ve decided to go ahead with the purchase and also set you up for an install appointment. Also, be aware that the install will require a level 2 installer. If your local BB has none available, you may need to drive to another location for the install.

Purchase this upgrade with a comp star remote start I would recommend it for anyone to upgrade to the system
