- Answer It may indeed be your keyboard, it may be a missing driver. But the searching for solutions is related to Internet Explorer issues not a computer issue; it may need a reinstall, but be advised microsoft is going to stop support explorer as they are replacing it with Edge.

Questioni just received a lenovo 300 S desktop tower. When I turned it on, I was asked for a power-on password which I was not given. Can you help?

- Answer The first step I would try is reading this page on the Lenovo support page... https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/ht036206 so under Power On password .... If the Power-on passowrd is forgotten and no Supervisor password set, try the following: Turn off the computer. Remove the battery pack. Remove the backup battery. For instructions on how to remove the backup battery, click here. Turn on the computer and wait until the POST ends. After the POST ends, the password prompt does not appear. The POP has been removed. Reinstall the backup battery and the battery pack.

- Answer May depend on the problem. They couldn't fix mine, it froze up at log-in and needed password, Agent couldn't do factory resetting.
