Yes. It tells you to get far away in the instructions. I think it wants a minimum of 40 feet horizontally and 20 feet vertically to be ideal, or 50-60 feel horizontally. I mounted mine in a tree top.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The product reccomends 50' but we tested it in several areas before permanently installing it. You will need more co ax cable to do that. We ran extra cable around and tried it. For us it was better at around 50' but still worked at 75.

However, you'll want to ensure the starting signal is decent to accommodate 75' of cable. We recommend upgrading to RG-11 in your case, especially if outside signal is weak.
