• Thank you for your question. The Connect 4G can cover an area up to 5,000 square feet. We cannot recommend for the booster to be used to broadcast outside due to FCC regulations.

• for my 1800 sq ft home I first bought the smaller one and upgraded to the bigger one. it will work wherever you have the antenna.

• It works inside and outside, coverage area would depend on how much signal you have to start with before installation. My experience is roughly 20-30 feet.
